One New Year's Eve day we took a little cruise out into the Bay on dad's boat. It was a beautiful sunny day with just enough breeze to keep us cool, but now enough to rock the boat too much. It was a relaxing day on the water, snacking, spending time together and enjoying the beautiful place where we live.
If my children don't grow up to LOVE the open water, it's not from lack of exposure! They are both "boat babies" and Lincoln is still talking about "taking the boat on the water with Grandad". I can't wait till they're old enough to swim, fish and get to experience the water more than just riding on it!
It was a sweet way to end an amazing year for us, and hopefully will set the tone for 2011- smooth sailing! :) We can just pray and wait to see what the Lord will do this year! Happy New Year to you all!
