I had a Dr visit yesterday to check on the little fellow, and all continues to be well. His heartbeat was good & strong, and he was certainly bouncing around enough. According to babycenter.com, he is now the weight of a butternut squash, which is about 2 1/2 pounds, and over 15 inches long, head to heel. In this 29th week "his muscles and lungs are continuing to mature, and his head is growing bigger to make room for his developing brain". So I guess he may look a little like an upside-down butternut squash with that big head!
While Georgia still doesn't understand what's going to happen in a few months, we've spent some time "talking" about babies lately and "baby" seems to be her favorite new word. And today while we were out she insisted on getting this sweet blue hippo for her baby brother! Since it was SO cute (& 1/2 off!) I agreed. Now, hopefully she'll remember to share it once baby brother is here!
